Mission

The Foundation is dedicated to fuelling the research ecosystem in Africa, with the twofold objective of training the next generation of African scientists in the use of artificial intelligence and of identifying new, affordable treatments for infectious and neglected tropical diseases.

Board of Trustees

The Foundation's governing body is the Board of Trustees (Patronat), made up of Dr. Edoardo Gaude, Dr. Miquel Duran-Frigola and Dr. Anna Homs.

Documentation

This page contains the Foundation's activity reports and annual accounts, available from the 2023 financial year onwards. The documents are approved by the Board of Trustees and submitted to the Protectorate of Foundations less than 6 months after the year end, in accordance with Law 21/2014 on the protectorate of foundations and the third book of the Civil Code of Catalonia. Missió

La Fundació es dedica a impulsar l'ecosistema de recerca a l'Àfrica, amb el doble objectiu de formar la propera generació de científics africans en l'ús de la intel·ligència artificial i d'identificar tractaments nous i assequibles per a les malalties infeccioses i les malalties tropicals desateses.

Patronat

L'òrgan de govern de la Fundació és el Patronat, integrat pel Dr. Edoardo Gaude, el Dr. Miquel Duran-Frigola i la Dra. Anna Homs.
