# Monday afternoon (demo)

Online demo on how to use the Ersilia Model Hub for compound prioritization

In this session, we will present a live demo on how to use models from the [Ersilia Model Hub](https://github.com/ersilia-os/ersilia) to predict compound properties and antimicrobial activity.

As an example, we are screening a library of approximately 1,000 compounds in search of promising candidates that are active against *Klebsiella pneumoniae*. This pathogen is listed as a critical priority by the WHO and belongs to the group of ESKAPE pathogens, which were initially identified as critical multidrug-resistant bacteria for which effective therapies are urgently needed.

In brief, we will predict activity against *Klebsiella pneumoniae* using the in-house Ersilia model trained on ChEMBL bioactivity data. We will also use auxiliary methods to evaluate their cytotoxicity and 2D projections.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ersilia.gitbook.io/ersilia-workshops/ai4dd-latam/sessions/monday-afternoon-demo.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
